The Funk Jazz Lounge Live Broadcast & Brunch

The Live Broadcast and Brunch is an opportunity for fans of the radio show to enjoy and experience the show in a social setting that enables them to witness the show come together live. Some of these loyal fans are also those who are not typically able to attend our weekly nighttime event because of parental or career responsibilities, or are looking for a different way to socialize and meet people outside of the regular late-night club scene. This event has also proven to be a great way for families, couples and groups of friends to go out and commune together while having an enjoyable afternoon. The live audience is comprised of urban professionals, local art/music community, local television/radio celebrities and an eclectic host of others.

The event features a live performance by a local spoken word artist who closes out the show and who is also given the opportunity to showcase their work and products (cd's, books, etc.) to the listening audience and those in attendance. In the past, we have featured an art show by a local artist and a fashion show by an up and coming local designer. We believe this is one of many ways to give back to our local art community by allowing local artists, designers and the like to feature their work to an eclectic and captivated audience.

The Live Broadcast and Brunch occurs the last Sunday of every month and was featured at The Royal Palm Crown Plaza Resort on South Beach in the past. We will be announcing our new location that will allow us to accommodate our growing numbers within the next couple of weeks.
