Lose Coins Savings
I use to get so excied as a child when my father would come over with all his lose change. We would count it and put it in my big jar in the kitchen. When my jar was full, my mom and I would take it to the bank. Try it and get your children involved in saving money. Take all your lose change from your car, purse, through out your home...even your couch and place it in a safe place like a huge jar or shoe box. Once it's full deposit it into a savings account.

Serial Number Savings
I got this one from Glinda Bridgforth, the author of "Girl Get Your Money Straight," Whenever I come across a one dollar bill with one of my initals like "K", I save it. Once my jar is full, I take my savings to the bank and deposit it into my savings account. You can also do this with five dollar bills and ten dollar bills. Just think how much your money can grow if you save all the bills you collect with your intials. You will be one Saving Diva.

Automate Savings
Pay yourself first! Talk with someone in your Human Resources department at your workplace and have a portion of your check go into a savings account. Rather than making a decision everytime you get paid. This way your guarenteed to give your self a savings pay day.

Retirement Savings
Join your employer's retirement savings plan. Most employers match your contribution. Check with your HR representive and get the ball rolling. Need a push...the money you contribute comes out of your check before taxes are calculated.

Create a Working Diva Savings Plan
Buy yourself a notebook and list your monthly expenses. Stick to your spending plan and try to come in under budget. If you spend less an any area, use the money to pay down debt before depositing it into your savings account.

Turn your Passion in Cash
Do you sew, make jewerly, set up computers, create greeting cards for the holidays? Turn your favorite pass time into a money making business. Create flyers and let your family, hair stylist, friends, church members and co-workers know of your services. Take the extra cash and put the remainder after business expenses into your savings account.

Next Level Savings
Once you get a good amount saved think about starting a mutual fund
