Jill is currently the News Director and local Co-Host of the Rickey Smiley Morning show in Miami in addition to hosting Hot Talk with Jill Tracey on WHQT HOT 105fm Miami. Ms. Tracey is engaging and entertains audiences with radical authenticity, engaging news, cultural content, and a wicked sense of humor. Recognized as a passionate media advocate, Jill supports the community as an instructor with Urgent Inc., the community development organization dedicated to empowering young minds to transform their communities through the media. Ms.Tracey contributes time as a supporting partner, advocate and donor to the Embrace Girls Foundation, YWCA of Miami, NFL Sisters in Service, the South Florida chapter of NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists), and the Cultural Heritage Alliance on Tourism. An early denizen of South Beach with the notorious nightclub column SoBeIt! Jill joined public relations powerhouse Susan Brustman & Associates (Now Brustman Carrino) and her credits include creating campaigns for pioneering South Beach hot spots Club NU, Club 1235 as well as her successful run managing Luke’s Miami Beach. Launched during the weekend of the American Black Film Festival in 2018, Jill’s periodic live Cocktails with Jill, are must-attend events for those looking to rub elbows in a festive environment while discussing matters of importance and learning about social trends.
