Critics Choice Awards: ‘Wicked’ ties with ‘Conclave for most nominations

The nominees for the Critics Choice Awards have been announced and “Wicked” and “Conclave” lead the pack with 11 nominations each.

“Wicked” was nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, Best Hair and Makeup and Best Visual Effects.

“Conclave” was nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Costume Design and Best Score.

The 30th-anniversary Critics Choice Awards will be handed out on Jan. 12 starting at 7 p.m. ET. Chelsea Handler is once again the host, Variety reported.
