MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The funeral for Young Dolph is happening Tuesday in his Memphis hometown.
Police in Memphis confirmed to WHBQ that the rapper’s funeral is scheduled for Tuesday.
Born Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., Young Dolph was shot and killed on Nov. 17 when he was at Makeda’s Butter Cookies.
He had walked into the shop to buy cookies when someone drove up and shot him.
Young Dolph was known for helping the community from where he came, including handing out turkeys for Thanksgiving through Memphis Athletic Ministries charity and speaking to the schoolchildren of Memphis, WHBQ reported.
No one has been arrested for Young Dolph’s death.
